About US We are an officially registered Noncommercial Legal Entity "Humanitarian Fund Teen Challenge Georgia" in the country of Georgia.
TEEN CHALLENGE GEORGIA : a Christian residential rehabilitation training center.
Each Teen Challenge center operates as a national organization in its own country based on self-administration and self-financing. However, all share the same philosophy of drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
Mission TEEN CHALLENGE GEORGIA exists to reach out and help the suffering, the social outcast, the poor and the defenceless. Our primary work is the rehabilitation of drug addicts assisting them through the process of becoming active, fully functioning, contributing members of society. We believe in the "total cure for the total person", inclusive of spiritual, emotional, social and physical healing. That is why our programs at Teen Challenge are holistic in their approach.
Philosophy of Drug Addiction Teen Challenge sees drug addiction as a crime, not a sickness. We consider it a crime against God, oneself, the family and society. Drug addiction is a deliberate choice made by individuals under various circumstances and for various reasons. Accepting personal responsibility for one's own addiction is absolutely essential for change.
Philosophy of Rehabilitation Addiction destroys a person physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. For rehabilitation to be permanent it must produce positive changes in all these areas. These changes are not rapid, but gradual and progressive as students learn by training and experience to solve life's problems positively and without drugs. It is not until the student returns to society as a working, contributing member of his local community that the process of rehabilitation is complete.
